Yes — any business recording the public needs clear signage and a documented purpose for the recording. We supply compliant signage with every commercial install and leave you with the paperwork covering retention, access and disclosure requests.
Staff areas can be covered where there is a legitimate business reason and staff have been informed, but changing rooms and toilets cannot. We will advise on lawful positioning during the survey.
Most of our systems export a clip to a USB drive or the app within a couple of minutes, so you are not left waiting when an officer is on site.
Often, yes — our engineers check existing cable runs at the survey and reuse anything suitable, which keeps disruption and cost down.
No. Footage is recorded and stored on your own recorder, so there is no compulsory monthly subscription to keep the system running.
