The challenge
Shops typically lose stock in the same few places: the entrance, the till point and the stockroom or rear access. A generic ‘four cameras covering the shop floor’ installation usually misses at least one of these.
The solution
A typical retail specification covers the entrance at head height for identification, an overhead view of the till and cash drawer, and the stockroom or rear fire door — each camera chosen for what it actually needs to prove, not just general coverage.
Entrance identification
Head-height coverage that gives a usable face for police or a banning notice.
Till & cash handling
Overhead coverage of the drawer, useful for refund disputes and void audits.
Stockroom & rear access
Where internal loss most often happens and is least often watched.
No monthly subscription
