Securing Local Community Centre in the Heart of Birmingham.

Birmingham-based community centre, Nechells POD has been penned as a ‘wonderful place’ by their residents.
Cameron Archer, Manager at Nechells POD, got in touch with CCTV Focus after the centre was broken into. Archer said the CCTV cameras they initially installed were such bad quality that they couldn’t even make out the face of the mystery culprit.

That’s when they knew something had to change and CCTV Focus got a phone call.

After booking in a free consultation, CCTV Focus installed 5 megapixel CCTV Cameras for the community hub in order to secure the site and reduce the likelihood of further break-ins. Let’s see what Cameron Archer had to say below.

Why did you install CCTV Cameras?

“We had cameras, but they were over 10 years old and we had a few break-ins in the same week a few months ago. The cameras were very bad, we couldn’t see what happened or what time it happened never mind who it was. That’s when we decided to upgrade our cameras.”

How has installing CCTV Cameras helped?

“We had another break-in after we installed the new cameras and we were able to see a clear image of the culprit. It gives us more reassurance that we’ll be able to see who it is and hopefully deter people from doing it again.”

How was the service CCTV Focus provided?

“It was good, I contacted them and they booked me a slot at the same time. Khurram came out and talked me through what the best thing to do is, what the best cameras are for the building and a few weeks later, we had someone out here installing the camera and he did it in one day, which was good.”
